The general terms and conditions of the online store www.medot-wines.com are laid down in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot) and on the basis of the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and international codes for online and electronic business.
The General Terms and Conditions govern the operation of the online store www.medot-wines.com, managed by Medot, Simon Simčič, Trg 25. maja 8a, 5212 Dobrovo v Brdih (hereinafter "the provider"), the rights and obligations of the provider and visitors to the website pages www.medot-wines.com and users who make a purchase (hereinafter "the buyer").

ONLINE SALE OF GIFT VOUCHERS
The General Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of gift vouchers issued by Medot, Simon Simčič, Trg 25. maja 8a, 5212 Dobrovo v Brdih on the website www.medot-wines.com.
Before the purchase, the provider of online sales enables the buyer an insight into the offer and prices or the value of gift vouchers. It is possible to choose between gift vouchers for different types of wine tastings and value vouchers (the customer can choose different values). Gift vouchers are transferable and redeemable for the services and products offered by the provider.
The buyer receives a confirmation of purchase to their e-mail address. Online sales are available 24 hours a day.
The provider reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, and it is necessary to emphasize that the buyer's purchase is governed by the general terms and conditions of sale in force on the day of the purchase.
REGISTRATION
Upon registration at www.medot-wines.com, the visitor obtains a username that is the same as their e-mail address and password. The username and password of the user are unambiguously associated with the entered data. By registering, the visitor becomes a user and acquires the right to purchase and at the same time agrees with the content of the Terms and Conditions.
PURCHASE
The website www.medot-wines.com allows the purchase of gift vouchers for wine tastings. It is also possible to purchase value vouchers.
For each online purchase, the customer must agree to the Terms of online Sale of gift vouchers. By confirming the purchase of the gift voucher, the buyer expressly agrees that they are fully acquainted with the provisions of these general terms and conditions and that they fully accept and confirm them.
From the list of gift vouchers, the customer first selects the desired voucher and adds it to the shopping cart. The customer can add an unlimited number of vouchers to the shopping cart, and all vouchers are subject to the same conditions for purchasing vouchers.
With a quick purchase, the buyer provides or enters the following information:

Name and surname
Contact number
Address
The buyer can also sign up to receive newsletter or receive personalised newsletter.
Then they choose the voucher delivery method. Delivery in electronic form or by mail is possible.
In the next step, the buyer selects the payment method. Payment by credit card or by proforma invoice is available.

After completing the online purchase, the buyer receives an e-mail confirmation of purchase with all information about the order.
PAYMENT AND COLLECTION
The purchase price for the ordered gift vouchers is paid by the buyer via the website, either by credit cards or by the provider's proforma invoice. The buyer indicates the method of payment. Payment online with a bank card is made in an environment protected and managed by Stripe company.
All prices on the website are in EUR and are final. We are not subject to VAT. Occasionally, promotional codes are also available that are valid for a fixed or indefinite period of time and offer additional benefits. All prices listed on www.medot-wines.com are prices of our services and do not include shipping costs. The price displayed at the end of an individual order consists of the cost of purchasing the goods, possible shipping costs and possible payment costs. The provider reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The valid price is the one published at the time of placing the order. All prices are valid only for electronic ordering of products through the online store.
LIABILITY, CANCELLATION, REPLACEMENT
The provider is not liable if the buyer does not accept the ordered gift voucher received in pdf format to the e-mail address or in physical form by mail.
Also, the provider is not responsible if the buyer loses the gift voucher, destroys it or otherwise disables its use. The provider does not issue duplicate gift vouchers.
Gift vouchers are valid for 1 (one) year from the date of issue. The use of the voucher must be booked in advance at info@medot-wines.com or tel. +386 5 9336160. The buyer submits a gift voucher when performing the service at the provider.
Replacement of a gift voucher for cash or money is not possible. It is also not possible to extend its validity or replace it in case of loss, destruction or damage. In these cases, the buyer is also not entitled to any refund. The gift voucher can only be redeemed in full and can only be used once.
The gift voucher is valid within the information written on it:

The buyer is entitled to assert the provider's liability for material errors within the deadlines and in accordance with the provisions of the applicable Consumer Protection Act.
The buyer has the right to inform the provider within 14 days of receiving the ordered gift voucher that they withdraw from the contract on the basis of a notice of withdrawal to the e-mail address info@medot-wines.com and at the same time return gift vouchers to the provider without giving a reason for their decision (the above applies only to natural persons who obtain a gift voucher for a purpose outside their gainful activity). The cost of returning the vouchers is borne in this case by the buyer.
ONLINE SHOP SECURITY AND DATA PROTECTION
The provider provides appropriate technological means and security and protection systems that provide adequate protection against loss or misuse of data.
The provider undertakes to permanently protect all personal data in accordance with the provisions of applicable law. All data obtained through the website will be used exclusively for the purposes of order execution and delivery, invoices and other documentation. At the customer's request, they will also be used to provide notifications, offers, novelty. The user's data will not be passed on to a third party. We need your information for a smooth order execution process and any order notifications.
MISCELLANEOUS
The provider strives to establish an effective system for handling complaints and resolving potential disputes. The provider complies with applicable legislation in the field of consumer protection.

The purchase receipt received by the buyer via e-mail cannot replace the gift voucher and the buyer cannot use it to claim the paid service. At the provider's point of sale, the buyer must present a gift voucher, which they receive at the e-mail address in PDF format, or by mail in physical form.
The online store reserves the right to change the general terms and conditions at any time or without prior notice.
